PUPPY SOCIALS

Pups need to socialize in order to learn about bite inhibition and get those ya-yas out! The push and pull between safely socializing your pup and protecting your sweet furball from disease are made even more difficult during a global pandemic. We offer small 30-minute pup playtimes that will adhere to social distancing guidelines for the puppy parents with markers on the ground designating 6 feet of separation.

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN

Puppy Kindergarten is the best way to start out on the right paw with your new family member! Puppies between 8 and 18 weeks are in the most formative time of their lives for learning and socialization. It’s also a prime time to form a lasting bond with your pup. In this class, we’ll cover all the developmental points of puppyhood including socialization, bite inhibition, and handling, as well as learning basic manners: sit, down, stay, come, etc.

BASIC MANNERS

Basic Manners 1 is a beginner class. This class is for any age dog, young or old, who may never have had any formal training before, or maybe just needs a little brush up on things he/she already knows. This is very similar to the Puppy Kindergarten class BUT it is an all-ages class and not for pups under 18 weeks of age.

INTERMEDIATE MANNERS

This is the most natural NEXT STEP for any graduate of the Basic Manners 1 class or the Puppy Kindergarten class. In this second class in the series, we will help you train your teenage dog to listen! Our focus will be on real life manners training--working recalls, loose leash walking, leave its, teaching a placement cue (specifically ”go to your mat”),and teaching parents the training tools so they can work at different levels of distraction.

LOOSE-LEASH WALKING WORKSHOP

Hone your dog’s leash-walking skills in this flexible, all-ages workshop. Join once or as often as needed!

This class is open to dogs of all ages, so no prior classes are required. However, your dog should be comfortable around people and other dogs, as we will be working in close proximity to other handler/dog teams. If your dog struggles with reactivity or fear, we recommend booking a private lesson instead.

RECALL WORKSHOP

Whether you’re new to recall training (coming when called) or looking to fine-tune your dog’s response, this workshop is perfect for all levels—and you can attend as many times as you like!

This class is open to dogs of all ages, so no prior classes are required. However, your dog should be comfortable around people and other dogs, as we will be working both indoors and in public spaces like parks and streets around the shop. If your dog struggles with reactivity or fear, we recommend booking a private lesson instead.

TRICKS WORKSHOP

Learn all the cute things – shake, wave, spin! Continue to build your communication skills and your joyful teamwork with your dog. Do something fun that brings a smile to you and to everyone and show off your greatness as a team.

This class is open to dogs of all ages, so no prior classes are required. However, your dog should be comfortable around people and other dogs, as we will be working in close proximity to other handler/dog teams.
